The law of scarcity which so governs our material world has no place in the world of grace and charity. In the world, scarcity rules. But in Christ abundance is freely given.

The law of scarcity which so governs our material world has no place in the world of grace and charity. In the world, scarcity rules. But in Christ abundance is freely given.

Fr. Scott O’Brien, OP, makes it clear that to hoard grace, to cut corners, and to feed each other only crumbs either of love or material goods, is disobedience to the Gospel. Jesus Christ offers us a life of abundance, of freedom from our sins and failings. And it is this same life which we are called to share with others through our relationship with Christ and our witness to the Faith.
