Faculty Advent Reflection

Life will throw you lots of curve balls. When these challenges come, and I promise you, they will, which path will you choose? I think it comes down to this…“you can either choose to trust God or freak out.”
God is the best friend you could ever have. He created you and He knows every detail about you. He knows the joys and the challenges that you face. He intimately knows your strengths and weaknesses and he loves you unconditionally. There is nothing you can do that will change God’s unfathomable love for you! He longs to be your friend, but it is up to you to accept this offer. There is nothing that you can do to earn God’s love and there is nothing you can do to make God love you any less. His love for you is unconditional. God is full of grace and his friendship is a free gift for you. But you have a part to play in this. A gift must be received. All you need to do is open your hands and receive the gift. Remember, “I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, they are plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
