Today the Dominicans and the entire Church celebrate the witness of the Doctor and Virgin, St. Catherine of Siena. A woman of deep prayer, contemplation, and communion with God who ventured out in service to the poor and the entire People of God.

Today the Dominicans and the entire Church celebrate the witness of the Doctor and Virgin, St. Catherine of Siena. A woman of deep prayer, contemplation, and communion with God who ventured out in service to the poor and the entire People of God.
St. Catherine reminds us that Jesus Christ is himself the Way that leads us to Heaven. He never promised it was an easy path to follow but as long as we remain in and with Jesus we remain on the Way. And the entire Way is Heaven because we are with Christ.
