How to pray the Lasallian Rosary

The Joyful Mysteries – Lasallian
The Luminous Mysteries – Lasallian
The Sorrowful Mysteries – Lasallian
The Glorious Mysteries – Lasallian

With the Church we pray the Glorious, Luminous, Sorrowful and Joyful mysteries and we Brothers add a sixth decade, inspired by De La Salle, to honor the Immaculate Conception, to pray for the Church, the Pope, for good vocations, for all our Brothers living here and in heaven.

The rosary is prayed the same as the Common Way of Praying the Rosary, only using these mysteries:

THE FIVE JOYFUL MYSTERIES:

1. The Annunciation

2. The Visitation

3. The Nativity

4. The Presentation

5. Finding of our Lord in the Temple 

6th Lasallian Mystery: The Immaculate Conception

THE FIVE LUMINOUS MYSTERIES:

1. Baptism of Jesus

2. The Wedding feast at Cana

3. Preaching of the Kingdom of God

4. The Transfiguration

5. The Eucharist

6th Lasallian Mystery: To pray for the Church and the Pope

THE FIVE SORROWFUL MYSTERIES

1. The Agony in the Garden

2. The Scourging at the Pillar

3. The Crowning with Thorns

4. Carrying of the Cross

5. The Crucifixion

6th Lasallian Mystery: For good vocations

          THE FIVE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES:

1. The Resurrection

2. The Ascension

3. The Descent of the Holy Spirit

4. The Assumption

5. The Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary

6th Lasallian Mystery: For the brothers here on earth and those who have died
