Do you love me? Jesus asks Peter this question. Then he gives him a mission. Have you ever thought about what Jesus says to you when he asks you the question? Our vocation is essential for us to discover and live. Today’s homily asks you to consider how this happens.
Do you love me?

We live in a time when it is essential for us to consider how it is we share our faith. Telling others about what we believe is not just a nice luxury, it is essential for us to do. For Peter, the consideration is to take care of us, the sheep as the vicar of Christ, the pope.
But this does not mean we do not have something we are called to do ourselves. There might have been a day when so many were active in faith that we did not think there needed to be any evangelization or outreach. But that is not true today. We need to develop our relationship with Jesus and share our faith with others by listening and engaging.
