The Holy Spirit Wins: Homily for Sunday, May 28, 2023

The Church was in a rough place. Jesus had indeed risen from the dead, but the leaders of this new Church were still pretty frightened. They hid in a room afraid because their life was at risk. Jesus had been killed, and so too might they. But then came the Holy Spirit. Everything was different because the Holy Spirit always wins.
