Enthusiasm for God
Many may know that the word enthusiasm is formed by the Greek words for “in God” (en theos) but the full meaning comes from enthousiastikos, which could be translated as be “possessed or inspired by a god“. That seems to fit with the Ethiopian eunuch’s experience of Jesus. When was the last time you became this excited for God?
