Promises Made, Promises Kept: Homily for Thursday, March 30, 2023

Promises. God tells Abraham he will be the father of many nations. Hardly seems possible given his advanced age, Sarah’s advanced age, not to mention they have no children. This is sometimes the very thing that befuddles us. We do not always realize that when it comes to God, what he tells us to wait for is outlandish indeed.
