Listen to God: Homily for Thursday, March 16, 2023
Since God loves us unconditionally, one would think that praying, spending time with God should not be that difficult. But if there were not a question of what it means to pray, so many saints would not have written about prayer. I think prayer gets even more challenging because of all of the distractions that are a part of our lives. But at the heart of prayer are the words of the Holy Spirit: Listen to God.

Listen to God
Since God loves us unconditionally, one would think that praying, spending time with God should not be that difficult. But if there were not a question of what it means to pray, so many saints would not have written about prayer. I think prayer gets even more challenging because of all of the distractions that are a part of our lives. But at the heart of prayer are the words of the Holy Spirit: Listen to God.
So perhaps today is the day to find some silence and seek to hear God. And even if you do not find that God speaks to you today, take a moment to bask in his love.
