This seems like such an easy choice. Why would anyone choose death and doom? The answer is our sinfulness. It has broken us, and it is for this reason that death and doom can sometimes appear to us like life and prosperity. The season of Lent is a time for us to ask God to help us to see more clearly.

This seems like such an easy choice. Why would anyone choose death and doom? The answer is our sinfulness.
