Homily for October 22, 2020

Be not afraid. On the day of an optional memorial for Saint Pope John Paul II, I am reminded of this phrase which he said so often. The bible quotes God as saying this phrase, or some variation of it, repeatedly. If there was ever a time when we were called to remember that we are in God’s presence always, and need not be afraid, it is now.
